Cabrillo students have access to the Makerspace to create projects and prototypes for class and campus activities with the help from Makerspace staff and mentors.
There are also Makerspace internships available to Cabrillo Students

How Can I Get Started?
To use the equipment yourself, you will need either to:
As a Cabrillo Student*, you can enroll in ART 95A: “Digital Fabrication in the Arts”
OR
Purchase a membership and sign up for an individual Digital Fabrication Equipment Training Workshop.
*Students must be enrolled in 3 or more units to be qualified for free access to the Makerspace during the hours of 12-8:30 M-F.
Looking to Create Personal Projects?
Anyone can purchase a Makerspace Membership! Utilize all of the equipment for your own personal projects and discounts on our Weekend Workshops.
We encourage members to complete the Art 95A course, where you will be certified to use the space and all types of machines.

All members are required to take the safety Primer class where you review the safe usage of traditional tools, machines and equipment.
